Anyone have any comments, criticism, or better, actual experience with Boosterplug?

This is the home page: https://www.boosterplug.com/shop/frontpage.html

There is a model available for SR400 ---- and yes, I know this is a variation on the old "put a resistor in-line with your temp sensor" ploy........but there are many claims that this is more sophisticated than that and does work. Any comments? I'm thinking in terms of slightly richening the mixture because of my new aftermarket muffler.

There is a long thread on this at the R nineT forums. Some of the best scientific thoughts are that the electronics just adapt to it although it seemed to work well on my bike (R nineT). May be different on the SR.

I am curious about the EFIE being used in reverse to enrich the mixture which is very popular in the Grom community.

It appears that the best and most expensive solution is a Power Commander with the self mapping O2 loop. I can already see my bank balance dropping...

Had you made any modifications to intake or exhaust on your bike before installing the device or did you install it on a stock engine?

Thanks for the reference to the R9T forum, I'll check it out.

Stock engine to keep the warranty intact. BTW, the R nineT is up for sale, a victim of my health the the SR400. You may also want to read up on the EFIE at Hondagrom.net.

There's a window open on my computer from last night with a PC V and Autotune kit in the cart...
