For small stuff like the triple trees you could use an oven. Your stuff turned out great! I ended up using VHT epoxy paint on my triples and i am really pleased with how they turned out. I am going to try it on my front wheel as well.

Cleaned up the motor mount plates last night and sprayed a couple coats on. A couple parts showed a bad reaction, so I will have strip and try again this evening. I'm thinking it's the drop in temp and humidity, but really not sure.

Congrats on getting to the fun part! I love it when all the ratchets get switched to tighten. :D

Motor mount plates were painted yesterday, and last night I put the motor back in the frame without a scratch. I'm going to try and get it to full roller status today, and hopefully next week hear some braaaapp noises.

I've still got a few little things to button up before kicking it to life, but it feels good to have it almost back together.

Also a reminder of what I started with.

Great work. What model fuel tank is that Honda one on the bike and did it fit over the frame easily? I would love to find a commonly available tank that fits and holds more than 12 litres.

It's a cb350 tank. I had to cut off the inner cups for the mounts, and some hammering to fit over the backbone. You would have to fabricate new mounts obviously as well.
