the fuel tank is made for a featherbed Norton, so will never never fit on the SR frame. I used a original old tank and used the Manx tank as a dummy. This meant i had to relocate the fuelcap a bit on the dummy but so far it is looking promising i guess

Hi Rocket.
Nice build you have going on.
Thank you for posting pictures of how you cut the frame. I really like the minimalistic look, and at the same time you get rid of the ugly bumb at the end of the original seat/frame.
This has been a real headscratcher for me so thank you again.
