Very cool dongie. What is your plan for the seat and tail on this one?

Amazing - what you've done in 5 weeks has taken me 5 years!
Where can I find those shocks?
My personal recommendation is to stick with the stock paint scheme, a favorite from the 70's. 8-)

I'm pretty sure those shocks are just a placeholder. I believe they are the ever popular cheapo RFY brand shocks. They can be had for around 100 bucks on eBay.

Thanks - I'll have to look them up here. Though from what you say, they don't sound worthwhile to purchase or rebuild.

Eric,

Check out the "Chinese EBay special Shocks" thread on the do the ton forums. It's under the suspension tech forum and is worth reading if you're actually entertaining using these shocks.

My personal recommendation for a quality shock at a reasonable price would be the YSS shocks. I believe dongie26 used them on his latest scrambler build so maybe he comment. I'm running a pair on my sporty and they are amazing. End hijack.

Thanks, I've been searching for an hour, but hadn't found that title. No worries should be needed regards hijacks, dongie26's posts are super popular. :)

Rear wheel is built, we have a roller here!

That looks fit to be hung above the living room sofa; great looking.

Yes, those RFY shocks are not staying. YSS, Gazi or even Hagon offer some decent adjustable shocks with a reasonable price tag.

The TT build is very much organic so I can't tell you what exactly it will look like. I have a general idea but the bike will slowly evolve into a finished product. Stay tuned!
